Just released in Dec 2008 after 3 years of research! TJ Full Music has spent the last 3 years to conquer the technical bottleneck in the design of 805/845/211 series and now accomplished the MKII version.

Compared to other brand same model tubes or even the previous TJ tubes, the designer has chosen to use carbon plate instead of graphite plate in the MKII version to dramatically improve the life expectancy and reliability of this particular model of vacuum tube. The tube has passed the torture-test of 90+ days around the clock with power on - it is proven with reliability, longevity and performance.

Grant Fidelity is the first North American distributor who carries TJ 805/845/211 MKII series. All tubes are factory matched premium with 30 days warranty included in the listing price. Optional 12-month warranty is available at extra cost. Check out Grant Fidelity Picture Gallery to see the production picture of TJ Full Music and meet the owners! :-)

A bit extra about Made-in-China 805 tube:

Only very few tube manufacturers in the world still manufacture 805 tube - China probably makes the best 805 tube nowadays. Why? Here is a bit scoop from the Chinese history class - In 1970s during the Chinese Cultrual Revolution (1966-1976), 805 vacuum tube was chosen by then Ministery of Electronics to be presented to Chairman Mao in Beijing as a 'political symbol' to show the achievement of the Chinese electronics industry. Lots of tube masterminds from Nanjing, Shanghai and Beijing Electron Tube Factories were involved in this political colored task and took it on as a great honor. Hence the 805 tube design was nearly perfected at that time, compared to other models such as 845 or 211. Chinese 805 design also benefitted from Russian experts when China and Soviet Union were close political alliance in the 1950s. Nearly all radio broadcasting in China in the 1960-70s uses 805 tube, which results in a very mature and advanced technology and implementation in this particular tube model.

Having said that, it doesn't mean that the current 845 or 211 tube is of inferior quality to the 805. Over time, the technical know-how has successfully spilled from 805 to the 845 / 211 tubes. The founder of TJ Full Music, Mr. Liu, was originally from Beijing Electron Tube Factory which was one of the tube factories involved in developing the 805 tube in 1970s.
